As the heart equipment of the blast furnace, the blast furnace fan has high technical requirements in the field assembly. In the field construction of the fan, if the sliding bearing assembly is improperly handled, the light will cause the unit to vibrate, and in severe cases, it will bring the burning tile and damage the balance of the rotor.

The author has been responsible for the on-site construction work of the blast furnace fan. Combined with the situation of the D2100 centrifugal blower equipment constructed by Xi'an Jiaotong University Saier Pump Co., Ltd. in 2003, the problems and experience of the sliding bearing assembly are summarized for reference by the relevant peers.

3.1 Assembly requirements for sliding bearing housings

The bearing seat and the bottom plate of the equipment are positioned by pins, the connecting bolts must be tightly pressed to make the contact uniform, the contact area should be 75%, and the fixing is firm. When the equipment is running, the relative displacement of the bearing seat is not allowed. After the device is aligned, attach a fixed positioning pin.

It is especially emphasized that the steel locating pin on the motor bearing housing should be replaced with a rigid nylon insulated locating pin to prevent the shaft current generated during the operation of the equipment from damaging the bearing alloy surface.

Considering the thermal expansion factor, the air inlet end of the fan is pressed with a single pad and double nut, and the air outlet end is double-padded and double nut fastened to the bearing seat and the equipment base only has a gap of 0.05 to 0.10 mm.

3.2 bearing and bearing housing coaxiality assembly requirements

Use a scraper or oil stone to polish the burrs and rust on the mating surface of the lower bushing and the bearing housing. The coloring method is also used to check the contact condition (when the equipment is running, the bearing bush diameter is too small, the bearing bush will vibrate in the bearing housing; if the bearing bush diameter is too large, forcible pressing will cause the bearing bush to deform).

The tile back of the fan is generally cylindrical, the lower tile has three adjustment pads, and the upper tile has one adjustment pad. If necessary, adjust the gasket of the tile back to ensure uniform contact of the fixed liner, and the contact area is not less than 75%.

The motor tile and the speed increaser are cylindrical surfaces without adjustment pads, which are guaranteed by machining. If the coaxiality is within 0.10mm, the field can be scraped through the tile lining, otherwise the spare parts need to be replaced.

If the tile back is spherical, the contact surface should be no less than 60% when inspected on site.

The bearing of the bearing bush must be tightly fitted with the bearing housing to prevent the bearing bush from axially swaying in the bearing housing.

The upper and lower bearing bushes are combined into the bearing housing, and the positioning pin is installed. It is required that the slotted portion and the inner circle are not allowed to be misaligned at the intermediate surface, and the anti-rotation pin is firm and reliable.

       4. It is not suitable for the rolling bearing of copper alloy as the cage, which will cause the cage to break due to corrosion.
