How to set inverter parameters and fault handling in Shenzhen engraving machine

Most of the inverters used on the engraving machine are dedicated inverters. The output frequency is generally 300HZ and 400HZ. The machining center model even reaches the high frequency of 800HZ. The rated frequency is generally set according to the factory parameters of the spindle motor. The correct frequency setting will give the spindle a better characteristic, otherwise it will damage the spindle.

When adjusting parameters, first set the frequency, including the maximum frequency, upper limit frequency, rated frequency, and minimum frequency. The maximum frequency is the frequency corresponding to the maximum speed of the spindle motor. The rated frequency is the rated frequency of the spindle motor, that is, the frequency corresponding to the rated voltage. The upper limit frequency is generally the frequency used at ordinary times, and the minimum frequency is the lower limit frequency. The frequency setting is incorrect, the spindle motor cannot work normally, and the spindle will be damaged for a long time, which may damage the inverter. When adjusting the frequency, it is also necessary to consider what signal the control system outputs. Generally, there are low, medium and high multi-segment numbers and analog quantities to control the frequency of the main shaft. If it is multi-segment control, firstly customize the three terminals to be low, medium and high terminals. The general factory default is 1, 2, 3, and then set the frequency value of multiple segments, generally 100HZ 150HZ 200HZ 250HZ 300HZ350HZ 400HZ Switch back and forth, if it is analog control, only change the frequency corresponding to 10V, generally set to use the maximum frequency. These basic parameters can be used normally, but some special spindles, special models need to change other parameters, such as constant power spindle parameter setting, constant power spindle frequency range is wide, if the parameters are set according to the ordinary curve, the spindle In the initial stage of the startup, there is a lot of noise, and the damage to the spindle is relatively large. At this time, the curve frequency must be customized, that is, at a certain voltage, corresponding to a certain frequency, the frequency of the spindle is gradually increased to the maximum. Some models need to start and stop the spindle quickly, you have to connect the external braking resistor, you need to open the inverter parameter brake, and the parking mode is changed to deceleration parking plus DC braking, and the parking time should be shortened to meet the site requirements.

The most common occurrence of the inverter during daily use is the fault alarm. To deal with these alarm problems, we must first find the instructions and see what the alarm code explains.

Eworldcnc reminds you that the common alarm code features are:

1. Undervoltage alarm means that the voltage at the input terminal is too low, and there may be a phase loss. Check if the voltage on the input side is abnormal.

2. Over-current over-voltage overload alarm, which generally refers to the long-term use of the inverter, there is generally power loss, this time there will be these kinds of alarms.

3. Deal with the comments, reduce the load, the lower knife is not as deep as before, and change the parameters to increase the overcurrent overload range of the inverter.

4. Module failure, this is generally the case that there is short circuit or grounding on the output side. At this time, do not force the power on frequently to avoid damage to the inverter. What needs to be done is to check whether the inverter is short-circuited between the three phases of the UVW, and whether the spindle motor plug is hit. Fire phenomenon.
